I have difficulty choosing which board to put some of my posts that start along psychological lines (cultural conditioning thread for example). Usually I think about science, philosophy or religion and spirituality boards, since they are the most relevant, but I feel they might be too narrow categories to discuss psychology, so I just put it into the General board. But then they may become too general.

I just want to suggest perhaps another board to facilitate discussion about the varied spectrum of psychological subjects.

Basically it is seen as a science. But there are aspects of it that aren't scientific or are scientific but take a different route into the human psyche, depending on the philosophical bent of the psychologist in question; strict mechanistic reductionism, humanistic values or even spiritual traditions.

A subforum in Science sounds good. That had also crossed my mind. Great minds think alike, so I've heard...
